Leslie Hoffman has developed her mediation skills through a lifetime of experience as teacher, writer, marketer, public relations executive, inventor (two patents), business owner, wife, mother, extended family member, divorcee and co-parent.
A beginning mediation class in 1997 at Aurora Community College led to workplace mediation training through the internationally-esteemed CDR & Associates in Boulder, Colorado. This was followed by divorce mediation training, CASA and Domestic Relations training, U. S. Equal Opportunity Employment Commission Training, as well as countless other annual training sessions. Years of volunteer work with the Face-to-Face Victim/Offender program and the Denver County Court mediation program allowed her the experience to confidently enter into private practice. Leslie has achieved the Professional Mediator designation of the Mediation Association of Colorado (MAC), and has mediated more than 3,000 cases over the last fifteen years.
Leslie Hoffman founded Denver Mediation Center (formerly known as The LTM Group) in 2000, providing professional mediation services in the areas of workplace, civil, senior and eldercare issues, and school disputes. Divorce and related issues are mediated through a subsidiary, A Center for Divorce Solutions.
